...where the land is clean and the people are sterile. The week has really caught up to me. I rushed my packing last night then drove to work and realized I needed to send my car back home. Then, on the way to the bus station (working till the last second we left the office) I realized I forgot my passport. But all was well and we got on the bus. A Nice bus. Literally. It's called 'Nice' and it was nice. Comfy reclining chairs, lots of room and dinner was provided. Not bad at all. It only took us 5 hours (by the time we were at immigration Saiful and gang had just reached Seremban) and arrived at our stop at 1.30 in the morning. Goz picked us up, zoned out of his head from working his ass off, and drove us to our hotel. We were told it was a backpackers hotel. Well, whoever backpacks here must hike in Prada, by the looks of it: kick ass design, very ikea (I swear I've seen all the furniture here in the catalogue) and free coffee and internet. Sure, we're paying a wee bit more, but for the hotel it's fucking worth it. I'm lovin' it like a fat kid loves cake (I can't believe I just quoted 50 Cent). Then it was chit-chats with Goz. He's just left and I'm still pumped on adrenalin for some odd reason. It's funny: I've been tired like a motherfucker for the past two weeks, but the second the bus left KL and I reclined that comfy grey seat I was in a state of supreme relaxation. Maybe I've been working too hard, but everytime I think about that I then think of the designers who are still there after I leave, trying to make whatever mad scribbles we writers make into something presentable. Dodgy world music is playing in the background. It may be time for bed.
